Unread Marks on a Navigator : Display a variable in navigator

Unread Marks on a Navigator : Display a variable in navigator

(OP)
I would like to be able to show the number of unread marks alongside a Hotspot for a specific database

So far I have been able to get the number of unread marks and display it in a message box.

The thing I'm having a problem with is displaying this value in a text box on the navigator.

I would be quite happy to display the value in any type of object on the navigator, I am just unsure how to pass a variable and display it on the navigator.

I'm sure this is quite basic stuff, but I feel like I've been round the houses in the help files and still haven't found anything useful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
