You may not be able to.  I have AOL, and I wanted to use the free home page that came with my account.  However, at the time, I learned that I could not publish any site unless I used AOL software.  This is great for the average user who doesn't know much about web sites, but not so great for those  who want to do more.  Things may have changed since I checked up on this, so you'll want to check out the help menus (I think the keyword is MYHOMEPAGE) to see what they say.  Otherwise, you might consider putting your homepage on one of the free web site provides like Geocities.

Actually you CAN upload to AOL - and there is full documentation on the knowledgebase.  I am going into a meeting right now - will look up the article and send it on afterwards.

I haven't tried it yet, but here is what I found in the Microsoft Knowledge data base.

I tried it and it works, there is however one thing to note:
You must rename the frontpage "index.htm" page (your home page) to "yourscreenname.html" in order for it to work.

Your URL will be:

http://members.aol.com/yourscreenname/filename.html

where filename = whatever you call the home page

Just so you don't think you're losing your mind when you upload your pages to AOL, be aware that changes made will not always show right away on AOL.

If you have an independent ISP you will be able to see the changes right away by using IE or Netscape (outside of AOL) but if you can only view it with your AOL connection don't be surprised to find that what you thought you changed, isn't changed.

Clear your cache and wait a little while then look at it again. The changes really do get made instantly but they won't appear that way to you unless you can view them from outside.
