Inheritance Problem in VisualCafe !!!

Inheritance Problem in VisualCafe !!!

Inheritance Problem in VisualCafe !!!

I've a class(myButton) inherited from JButton and i've a function (setColors) in my class which sets the background and foreground color for my button. I thought this could be OK for me and need not set it again and again when i use it frequently. I then created a .jar for myButton, using Visual Cafe's AutoJar, and added to VisualCafe's component library. In a new JApplet if i drag & drop my Button, i found that the code which i've written in myButton's setColors method, is again repeated in the Applet. I tried the same by having myButton as a JavaBean too. I still end up in  the same problem. This happens for most of the components and also for containers.

Am i missing something??
Pl. throw me some light on this since i'm struck up at this point.
