How does one set the autoexec.bat of a dos box under XP?

RE: Autoexec for XP

try msconfig in the Start>Run... menu

or hold <WindowKey> (between Ctrl & Alt) and press 'R'

This will bring up a Run Program dialog

type: 'msconfig' and press enter

this will bring up another dialog where you can setup the window Autoexec, ini files, startup apps...

I know that program but it doesn't have anything in it to let me set the path of a dos box when it's created.

RE: Autoexec for XP

Use environment settings in System properties.
