E740 and excel workbook synchronization

I use ActiveSync 3.6 (same problem in 3.5). My contacts and emails sync just fine. An Excel workbook shows only the cover page and several blank spreadsheets.  All have same name as those on laptop, just no data is transferred. Ideas?

RE: E740 and excel workbook synchronization

Could it be that all those cells that did not transfer have macros associated with them.

I downloaded a complicated worksheet and it divided it into multiple sheets on my PDA but I did not get any data.

Then I downloaded a more simple spreadsheet and it worked correctly.

Hope this helps

Robert

That is entirely possible. Spreadsheet is from work. Ones I have are very simple and work well, no problem with data transfer.

Thank you

RE: E740 and excel workbook synchronization

I think you must remember that the Excel program on PocketPC is abbreviated.  I don't believe it will recognize macros, listboxes, etc.  Must really keep it basic.

Thank you.  Now I think I can figure it out.  Great forum!
