Cisco IP Softphone

(OP)
I have tested with Cisco IP Softphone. Have anyone tested with This company's version of Cisco IP 7960 Phone?

http://www.ipblue.com/vtgopc.htm

It seems cool and you can use it on the VPN with no problems. It's actually better than Cisco Softphone when I tested it.

RE: Cisco IP Softphone

I haven't tried this one but I use the Cisco Softphone on the VPN with no issues right now.

RE: Cisco IP Softphone

When you use the IP Phones, are you using it as a point-to-point phone or you are using it with a Call Manager?

If my thinking is correct, one can dial another IP phone by IP just like NetMeeting. Right?

Thanks

RE: Cisco IP Softphone

I use it via CallManager.  I don't see anywhere in the phone where you could make a point to point connection using an IP address.  It uses CallManager for dialplan routing.
