WriteRight is a thin, rectangular piece of clear plastic that lies on the screen to protect it. WriteRight helps protect your touchscreen against the kind of damage you mention.The plastic screen saver gives a nice tactile feel to your stylus. Concept Kitchen makes WriteRight for H/PCs, Palm-size PCs and PalmPilots ie Handspring Visor. They also have other cleaning system products which may be able to help restore your screen IF it is not too far gone. Screen replacement and or repair is the most expensive thing on a PDA. Most computer stores that handle PDA's carry this or something simalar. Hope that helps.
