How can I configure my SQL Server to send e-mail to Groupwise e-mail server?

RE: SQL Mail with Groupwise

I have configured SQL*Mail to send mail to an outlook profile which uses the groupwise services to connect to Groupwise.  I not found any way to do it without outlook, but these seems to work fine.

RE: SQL Mail with Groupwise

The easiest way I have found is to have your sql mail sent via pop3 on the gwia. You can still prevent the gwia being used for spamming by only allowing your sql system to use the pop3 of the gwia.

RE: SQL Mail with Groupwise

How can you use POP when SQL mail needs a MAPI profile?
