Severe SMS Problems since reinstall

Severe SMS Problems since reinstall

Hope anyone can help,

since i stopped my testinstallation of SMS and moved it onto a new server with same Sitecode (SP1) i face many problems not been there before:

1. SMSServer_SP1 acount gets locked out by one machine
2. Selfdefinded collections don't get any updates
3. Advertisments aren't processed and no distribution share is created on the dist-server

The whole "feel" of SMS seems to be wrong and i think this belongs due to an error in moving the site to a new server. To accomplish this i installed a fresh copy of SMS and disabled all services on the old one.

hoping for good hints

RE: Severe SMS Problems since reinstall

New server has a different SID. Even though the site code is the same, you would have to remove and reinstall all of the client software to reassign the clients to the correct server and smooth out the system.
