Views and parameter

(OP)
Hi,

From the clients, i need to run the same view but with different parameter in order to generates reports with crystal (Chrystal report uses the view ).
is it possible? if yes show me how please.

thanks a lot.

RE: Views and parameter

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'parameter'. Views can be queried just the same way tables can be queried, using any kind of SELECT criteria.

Or do you mean you want the internal definition of the view to use a different query, based on which user is accessing the view? (I think this will be possible with full domain and schema support, which is coming to PostgreSQL soon)

I can't really show you anything unless I know what it is you are trying to do. Please describe this more fully.
