VSS and UltraEdit

Is there any way to clean up temp directory automatically?
I am using VSS with Ultra Edit as my editor. I put the UE's project file in source safe database, so whenever I need to open the projects, I just click on the project file, and I can have the whole files opened.
Trouble is sometimes VSS left file in temp directory and failed to clean up, and when I clicked on the UE's project file, I can open the whole files but the project name will be sstxx instead of the correct project name.
Does anybody have idea how to clean up VSS temp direcory automatically or better to prevent the VSS failed to clean up temp directory.
Thanks in advance.
