Starfish no longer hosts it.

RE: Sidekick 99 update to 6.01

Dear Wayneg2/wlg

I have multiple copies - on zip disks and on my harddrives.  It is a good sized (7,234,006) file, so an internet file transfer would probably be cumbersome.  I could make (burn) a cd and mail it to an office address.

You may want to wait for more replies.  Someone may have put the file on another ftp server.

I have reinstalled ver. 6.01 several times on several different computers.  I have had to copy the file to my hard disk and install in from there.

Good luck!

Tom

RE: Sidekick 99 update to 6.01

Dear ThomasHDowney,
I don't wish to appear too pedantic (but I no doubt will!)

If you have several original CD's of Sidekick99 version 6.01 then what you are suggesting is Legal.

I started this forum with the intention that it would be of benefit to all the Sidekick users (Myself included) & since Starfish has limited it's support to it's  FAQ pages on 'Older products' it would be a shame if this resource were closed down for the sake of what I'm sure is only a helpful suggestion that we start copying and distributing Starfish products.

I am trying not to offend here and I hope you see where I am coming from.
I wish wayneg2 all the best and will help him in any way I can (Legally).
Please do not take offence.

Regards Jim
