VP206 Fax Resistor Fix

VP206 Fax Resistor Fix

VP206 Fax Resistor Fix

(OP)
I understand that there is a fix to a resistor that makes fax detection more consistent.  It is advertised as the "factory fix" or the "improved fax" model.  Does anyone have information on this fix?

Dutch John,,,,, his link has your manual

RE: VP206 Fax Resistor Fix

I'd be interested in this resistor modification too.  The first reply ("Dutch John,,,,, his link has your manual") is rather cryptic...Colin, do you have any useful details about the resistor mod that you could share with us?

RE: VP206 Fax Resistor Fix

I am ordering another VP206 but WITH the Fax fix built in and going to compare it with the version I have that does not have the fax fix and will let you know of my findings.  A freind is buying my old one....he does not need the fax to work but I do.  I will keep you posted.

RE: VP206 Fax Resistor Fix

What's wrong with this group?  Many VP users are already here!

I just started a yahoo group for the VP206, so we can share out troubles, accomplishments!
