Transparencies and Gradients...please HELP!

Transparencies and Gradients...please HELP!

Transparencies and Gradients...please HELP!

(OP)
I know this is probably really easy but how the heck do you use gradients with transparencies.

Specificaly I want to make a gradient that goes from a specific color to transparent.

I know how to do this in Pphotoshop easy, but I can't seem to find how to do it through fireworks.

Thanks in advance,
-Shu745

RE: Transparencies and Gradients...please HELP!

make sure that the image is a gradient that goes to a transparent color ie white (blue>black>white) that way the white will start to fade

select the image and go to filters>other>convert to alpha

whos that behind you?
