can't edit .jpg in Freehand 10... newbie ?

(OP)

Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong:

1. open a .jpg in Freehand 10
2. the image is selected
3. right click and chose color control
4. I edit the colors, etc and image does not change

what gives?

I guess I need to do something or set something. If I start out with a blank page and add a box, etc. to the page... I then can edit the image via the color control???

THANKS

RE: can't edit .jpg in Freehand 10... newbie ?

Freehand is a vector drawng tool, it is not able to help u edit photographs in jpg or gifs....

RE: can't edit .jpg in Freehand 10... newbie ?

You need to place your jpeg file in Freehand. You cannot adjust your jpeg file in Freehand.  If you have Photoshop you can color correct the image in Photoshop - - save - - open the Freehand file that you placed in Freehand -- your file will update in Freehand showing your changes that you did. If you need more info contact me.
