Can't sync PalmVx via USB to notebook anymore!!??!

Can't sync PalmVx via USB to notebook anymore!!??!

Can't sync PalmVx via USB to notebook anymore!!??!

(OP)
I purchased a Targus USB sync/recharge cable for my PalmVx last year and it worked great, for a while. About 3 months ago, it would not sync anymore. Now I have to go home and shove the Palm into its cradle on my desk top to sync. I didn't change the comm ports or any of that jazz. What happened?

RE: Can't sync PalmVx via USB to notebook anymore!!??!

It could be that you started synching at home.

Do some things still sync at work?
What do you sync at home? Calendar, Address book...
If you sync these things at home, you may not be able to sync them at work. Or vise-a-versa

Do you use USB for anything else at work? Does that still work?
Maybe your USB is not working.

Can you plug a serial cradle in at work?
If so, change the port to com 1 or com 2 and try it.

HTH

So I removed and reinstalled the appropriate software and how embarrasing for me, the comm port was not matching between Targus and Palm Sync, so I just had to make them match and viola. Thanks tgus.
