OLE Error code in Windows XP

OLE Error code in Windows XP

OLE Error code in Windows XP

(OP)
I recently purchased three computers with XP operating systems.  They are networked to a server.  On one of these machines a custom written FXP program works fine.  On the other two machines I am getting the following error message

"OLE Error code 0X80040154
Class not registered
(1426) (80040154:Class not reqistered
instaniate 84

The strange part about this is that I am accessing the program from the same directory on all three machine.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
ALAN

RE: OLE Error code in Windows XP

The program probably uses OCX (Activex controls) the need to be registered not just copied. You should install the software rather then copying it, that way the OCX get automatically registered.
