Enable Redirect for DID

On a MICS 0x32 ver3.0 I've tried to enable redirect for a set with a DID line out to poolA to an external cell number.  System answers when called, but goes to a fast busy.  Prime set for target line is none, all poolA lines are supvr.  Any tips appreciated.

RE: Enable Redirect for DID

Mroberts has a nice layout of how to externally call forward a phone in the FAQ section of this forum. Good Luck!!

RE: Enable Redirect for DID

Hi!  I've viewed the FAQ and it refers to having 4.1 which we do not.  I believe the redirect feature will work with 3.0 however I can not get it working and I suspect it may be the DID configuration.  One post within the forum noted that DID is troublesome so wondered if there was any advice on this older version.

RE: Enable Redirect for DID

If you want the Call Forward to be on a No Answer condition, program the cell number including the destination code in the CFNA heading of Capabilities for the station you want to forward. That way you will get the forward after a specified # of rings. Good Luck!!

RE: Enable Redirect for DID

Version 3.0 is apparently radically different because regardless of the setup (I followed the directions incl. trying the CFNA to the dest code) the code can not be entered into the forward or CFNA setup.  The redirect isn't working when pointed to a destination either.

RE: Enable Redirect for DID

I just tried it on a 4.0 system and it did not work, sorry.

RE: Enable Redirect for DID

I certainly appreciate the guidance.  Just found this forum and it's a fantastic reference.  I'll keep trying at the redirect on the DID targets.  I suppose it'll be time to upgrade soon in any case!

RE: Enable Redirect for DID

Do you have a NAM voicemail?
You could use the Outbound Transfer From NAM(Dial 7 Option).

RE: Enable Redirect for DID

No, a simple 2 channel Startalk Flash.  No out transfer feature on it.  There is an ext txfr point on the CCR, an off prem notification for the vm however nothing that would seem to be a user based transfer.  I have off prem sending calls to the cell, however this is the only semi-workaround that works so far.
