condition:
the nvram is a cartrige used with 4.0 and 4.1 software. when used with 4.1 the nvram provides additional memory locations for the operating data required bu the ksu.
nortel has identified a low instance where power cycling can result in data corruption on the nvram. the only confirmed incidents are with memory locations storing routing code info. resulting in loss of routing code info after a power cycle. ONLY 4.1 systems are affected 4.0 are not affected.
routing code info is not the only data stored on the cartrige
ata settings, trunk configuration parameters( line coding, framing etc ) dti and bri line provisioning, network name programming, hospitality ( all programming ) line pool access code programming, target line appearances, received number length, disa ani and dnis settings,carrier access codes, hunt group programming, and portable credits

identified by NTBB08GA-93 Rel 02 the enhanced design was in production as of nov 8 2000. exchange process in place till dec 31 2001
basically do a backup of the system programming with a rad, change the cartrige and do a restore and all programming should be in place
