How to Switch Off Ligatures?

How to Switch Off Ligatures?

How to Switch Off Ligatures?

I'm using a font that doesn't support Ligatures. If I switch off Ligatures it only seems to work for a special word. How do I switch Ligatures off for the whole text?
Thanks in advance.

RE: How to Switch Off Ligatures?

When you start your document. You can create a style without the Ligatures.
Choose your Character Styles pallette. Click on the arrow (top right corner)and in the drop down menu choose New Style. Under the Basic Character Format you have the option of using Ligatures or not.
When you start to type in a section you do not want the Ligatures then use the style without it.

Good Luck
