Could someone tell me the services the both SMS server and SMS client depend on? This may sound like a dumb question, but I really need to know...thanks

RE: Windows NT services SMS depends on

Heenick on the server side  -

SMS_Executive - many other services are under this one SMS_Site_Backup - manual service for site backups
SMS_Sql_Monitor - connection to the SQL database
SQLServerAgent - self-explanitory

On the Client Side -

SMS Client, SMS Hardware Inventory Agent, SMS Remote Control Agent

Your Client services might differ depending on what your specific site setting are.
