Importing 3d objects

Does anybody know how to import a 3d object into the directx 3d framework in visual basic?

RE: Importing 3d objects

The easiest way is to use an engine.  Just take a look at some screenshots of my game im making in Visual Basic/ DirectX 8.1/ TrueVision 3D Engine:
You'd be amazed with what you can do in Visual Basic :)

RE: Importing 3d objects

Surely the engine is just an api to the directx api, which strikes me as inefficient. It also relies on other peoples coding practices, as well..........

Your game looks good ..
