BCMS issue with R10

Hi everyone,
Upgraded to R10 last weekend at long last. Now My BCMS R1 won't work. Avaya vendor said Avaya knows of no known problem with the upgrade and didn't spec us to have upgrade of BCMS. Called Tech support who stated we would need R2 v3.1 Build 227. Latest call back from vendor was there may be a patch out there available for this problem. If anyone knows of this patch and where I can get it I'd appreciate it. Computer is connecting via 8400Bplus data module. I tested the connection while setting up the software. It tested fine per software however not getting any Splits or anything else in drop down boxes
