The only feature that will come close is GROUP CALL. (GRP pkg 48) It allows a user of Meridian 1 telephones to place a call to up to 20 directory numbers simultaneously by activating a Group Call key. The called dns must have been defined as menbers of a group. Groups are assigned in LD 18. When a group is defined, each member of the group is assigned a member number.
Activation of a Group Call key originates a call to all assigned members of the group. When the first member answers, ringing tone is removed and a speech path is set up between the member and the originator of the call. As subsequent members answer, they are added to the call. Now for the page part.....We set up auto answer on each set (with a AAK key) that the user could activate. The key 0 is the group member DN. (It must be single appearance for the auto answer to work.) We used phantom dns and programmed their DID on another key. We used this to page on a hospital dept that wanted to page all others in the dept. Not the best, but it works..
