Option Buttons 'cell link'

Option Buttons 'cell link'

(OP)
I need to add three sets of option buttons to one worksheet. The problem is after adding my first set of buttons I can't seperate the other sets 'cell link' from the first.

RE: Option Buttons 'cell link'

Could you tell us what you are trying to do with the option buttons?  Do the first set of buttons do what they are supposed to do?  How do you create the next set?

Kathryn

The three sets of option button need only return a number in three cells that a 'Log in macro' looks at and hides or displays relevent worksheets. The first set are working fine and were set up just adding option buttons and giving them a cell link (three buttons returning 1,2 or 3 in the 'linked cell') if I add another button it is linked automaticaly to hte first sets 'linked cell' and if I change its 'linked cell' it changes the first three as well. I hope this makes sense Kathryn.
Thanks Phil

RE: Option Buttons 'cell link'

Sorry for the delay; I have been out on vacation.  I understand the functionality of the buttons; I think there might be a much easier way to do this.

I understand that you have a macro that is used to "log-in" users.  It sounds like you want to show or hide certain sheets based on user log-in.  Do your option buttons decide what is shown or hidden?  In other words, when I as a user open your workbook, am I going to see a form with three different sets of option buttons like:

Option Group 1   Option Group 2  Option Group 3
  o Option 1A      o Option 2A     o Option 3A
  o Option 1B      o Option 2B     o Option 3B
  o Option 1C      o Option 2C     o Option 3C
  o Option 1D      o Option 2D     o Option 3D

Let me know the answers to these, if you still need help on this problem.

Kathryn
