Reserved words for V2R3

Reserved words for V2R3

Reserved words for V2R3

(OP)
Does anyone know the new reserved words for V2R3?

RE: Reserved words for V2R3

So who's a lucky person using V2R3 - from what I've read it would fulfil a lot of 'wants' from my users.
NCR aren't always forward in providing hard copy manuals or examples but they do provide copious documentation on their site www.info.ncr.com/
It can be foudn right at the bottom of their home page under 'support link'
Downloads can take time unless you have a nice quick ISDN line (at work?)
Anyway, in the SQL quick reference this is teh list of ALL the keywords. To find teh new ones you coudl always import the V2R2 keywords and compare.
Have fun,
StuartMac

RE: Reserved words for V2R3

(OP)
Thanks for your response. I don't have V2R3 in hand yet, but I'm hoping to have access to it in the near future. I can be reached privately at john.hall@detroitmi.ncr.com - feel free to drop me a note.

RE: Reserved words for V2R3

An exhaustive list of TDAT and ANSI keywords can be found in
Language: English ID#: SA100080D86 on Support Link. If you want it on email, contact me at kroloson@att.com. This is very important for the DBA to review long before going to V2R3. It is a red jeopardy if not done proactively.

RE: Reserved words for V2R3

Do you know if there is a data dictionary tabel that contains these keywords?

RE: Reserved words for V2R3

I would not think so!  It is listed in NCR's Support Link as I noted in previous msg.  These keywords, if already in use,  would be found in misc. customer tables, and therefore in conflict  with NCR's underlying support structure.
Check out the online doc that I refer to in July 18,1999 message.
