I have older software but I believe it would do the same. in
Ld 11 cls put in FITA (FLEXIBLE INCOMEING TONES ALLOWED)
It won't ring but will have tones until you pick up or it goes to voice mail. You will know for sure you have another call.

You cannot add FITA to set CLS unless OPT in CDB Flexible incoming tones allowed (DBA). DBD is denied. LD 15 CHG CDB cr to OPT ENTER DBA then chg cls on set to FITA. (id distinctive ringing is turned on, the intermittent tone is received when off hook.

Depends on what you mean by DNDR FFC . DNDR is a digital set prompt that allows SCN appearances to start ringing after the DNDR value (6=1 ring, 12=2 rings,etc.) has expired. With FITA on the CLS you get intermittent, or continous ring on the set when it is off hook. (The reason for FITA in the first place) Without FITA on the set CLS you would still get just 1 buzz tone. The main purpose for DNDR is to allow the person who owns the DN time to answer before it starts to ring on a secty set who answers the call if that person doesn't. Most of the sectys like this because they don't stop every time their phone rings to see which Dn is ringing.

I would like to know how I could have access to on-hook/off-hook information of a Nortel Option 11 or Meridian PBX from a network application.

My application needs to know if someone if one the phone or not.

Are you looking for BIT state setting, say for a line side t1 card? What type of information are you looking for. You might want to start a new thread for this questions.
