Database consistency before backup

I'm a newbie on Mimer. How do I verify that Mimers
databank files are consistent before I take a backup?

RE: Database consistency before backup

I the never version of Mimer there is a command within Mimer to take Backup on the fly. If you want the DB to be up 24 hours it is recommended that you run the backup command in the night when the activity is low.

The procedure is described at Mimer developer site http://developer.mimer.se/features/features_result.tml?id=7.

The Mimer backup routine makes a copy of the databanks. Then you can backup the copies the normal way.
