How many of us here are in multi-task mode? Is anyone out there doing like 5 projects one time?

Is that the case where you guys are?
I'm currently employed to a newspaper company and I hear, what I call "the unofficial motto" of the Technology Department, is "Projects available MUST be greater than time available".

Is that case where you guys are?

Well I am not sure if I relate to your senario , but Multitasking in my sense is being able to do several parts of the projects, or working in different projects around, for example, I am mainly working with VB at the moment for ActiveX control, that goes in an Active Server Page, while I'm also doing the Daily backup burns to CD, checking up on some HTML, working in a little C++, and whatever else is needing to be done, the work kind of piling up since we are down to 2 employee's now (with the exception of the CEO and his wife)

But yea I consider myself multitasking, I find it to be a very important aspect, two things I find important, is to be able to do more than one thing in a given day, as well as being able to learn with the technology.
Karl
kb244@kb244.com
<a href=
Experienced in : C++(both VC++ and Borland),VB1(dos) thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, HTML, Visual InterDev 6(ASP(WebProgramming/Vbscript)
I am also overworked...um...er...multitasked ;-)

hehe, I used to use that term a lot fenris, but just saying that to myself just makes it even more unhealthy :}
