Sybase SQL Anywhere 5.0 ODBC Driver

(OP)
I am using Visual FoxPro. I use VFP to connect to Sybase SQL anywhere.

I want to install the Sybase SQL Anywhere 5.0 ODBC driver as part of my installation setup.

How do I install only the SQL Anywhere driver from my setup program ?

Regards

Chetan

RE: Sybase SQL Anywhere 5.0 ODBC Driver

Chetan, you could probably include the setup.exe (perhaps it has a different name) for the SQL Anywhere driver as the post-setup executable, which is Step 4 of the VFP Setup wizard.  This way, the SQL Anywhere setup is run automatically after your application's setup.

Yes, to install, run setup.exe.  Also need information on: name and location of database file, username and password.  It should connect automatically when you run FoxPro.
It might also might require TCP/IP, DNS, or WINS installed, if it's on a network.
