Comparison with other authoring programs

Comparison with other authoring programs

Comparison with other authoring programs

I have acquired Visual Page 2.0 bundled with Symantec SystemWorks. I was not planning on installing it, but in reading the user's guide I find that I am intrigued with its seeming ability to work at both native code and graphic views, much as does HomeSite. Not wishing to leave any stone unturned, I pose the question to other users: Is this a worthy product?

RE: Comparison with other authoring programs

Yes, it's a pretty decent product if your just starting off building websites and learning as you go. It does not offer the flexibility as some other Web Editors, but for the absolute novice, it's a very good program!

RE: Comparison with other authoring programs

I just built a virtual tour of Niagara Falls with my dog using VP 2.0 - love it!  Pissed that Symantec dropped it when they could have bundled it in their sale of Visual Cafe - they could release the code.  I bought 2.0 wiyth the promise of upgades.
