what is the file name and extension of the dbase of peachtree 2000

The are btrieve files, extension is .DAT. There are multiple files.
If you need to read the entire database or multiple tables with a tool like Crystal Reports or MS Access, use file.ddf or the pervasive ODBC drivers.
