JSP development platform

(OP)
I'm new to JSP and was wondering what kind of development platform do i use to code JSP with?
For instance, ColdFusion has ColdFusion Studio and ASP development is done on MS Interdev.  So what is JSP development done on...a simple text editor?

RE: JSP development platform

No Dreamweaver Ultradev cont. Drumbeat.  you can download a trial version from www.macromedia.com. It´s the best so far, you can actualy use any HTML editor, Frontpage f.ex..

RE: JSP development platform

Ultradev is very good, but be careful some of the code that it produces may cause your JSP server to hiccup. Also some of the ODBC instructions are not supported by all ODBC sources. Good Luck
