Interwoven Server Configuration

Interwoven Server Configuration

Interwoven Server Configuration

I have not purchased Interwoven yet but am trying to work out the server configuration... The sales literature indicate that the work/staging areas reside on the Interwoven TeamSite server, but if I am developing sites in ASP how do I see the changes in context?

RE: Interwoven Server Configuration

You know, I'm doing the same thing... It's really hard to understand if you're used to a strict 3-tier environment.  From what I understand, your staging area is in Teamsite, but you do all your development in your workarea, which is on your own computer.  You can see the changes in context in your workarea and in the staging area....

I've been used to a Vignette environment and a strict websphere 3-tier environment, and it's quite a paradigm shift to think the way Interwoven wants you too.

FOr us though, it's looking to be a decent match.
