Can I get a REPORT stating all of my changes from VSS?

Can I get a REPORT stating all of my changes from VSS?

Can I get a REPORT stating all of my changes from VSS?

(OP)
I.E.

When you CHECK IN files, there is an area where you can add COMMENTS (which are usually only seen under DETAILS).

I need to see the DETAILS; not the checked in / out time.

Is there a way?

Thanks,

RE: Can I get a REPORT stating all of my changes from VSS?

Wonder if anyone has found a way to perform this action? I would like to know if it possible to generate a report in VSS to show all the changes, check-in times as well as the associated comments?

Is there another product/app that has these features. May need to look at bringing a more robust version tracking system in-house. Thanks for all the comments to come!

Thanks

J. Kusch

RE: Can I get a REPORT stating all of my changes from VSS?

I seem to have found one work around that may meet my needs, as well as some others out there. Here is a reporting tool/app that bridges the reporting needs i am seeking.

http://www.sourcevizor.com/

Thanks

You can also try:
Show History
when this comes up, choose Report
then check Include Details & Preview to see if this will fit your needs.

Hope this helps,
Jessica
