Anyone using Quintas, Avaya Interaction Center...
(OP)
Is anyone out there using the former Quintas product? I think Avaya refers to it now as the Avaya Interaction Center, CRM, or eContact.
Wanting to know what your thoughts are about the product as a whole?
How was the install, setup, and maintenance?
What platform are you running it on? NT, Solaris, AIX?
How are you connecting to your Definity PBX? And what version software is your TS server running? The Quintas docs say you need TS running on Win2K, however we have an existing TS server running NT4. Do we have to upgrade all of our CenterVu stuff to Win2K for the AIC product?
Appreciate any comments or recommendations.

Go to www.newtelessence.com.
This is a AVAYA Gold Partner that is very knowledgable on the AVAYA IM solution (the former Quintus suite)
They were a distributor for Quintus before AVAYA adopted the Quintus solution.
They have done some projects within Europe at GSM service providers, Outsources Call Centers and Insurrance Companies.
To go in to the TS Server requiremenst it would be wiser to have IM connect to the MAPD with Callvisor ASAI, a MAPD can run Callvisor and Langateway software so AVAYA IM would connect to Callvisor and your current TS Server would still connect to the Langateway without an upgrade on your TS Server.
Please let me know if the information that was provided is helpfull.
