I am having this problem in illustrator 9 or 10. I am bringing an EPS file created in Photoshop, the reason for this is not to have a background.
When I bring this EPS into Illustrator the first time it works. If I close the file and open it again the background comes back. I have tried a couple of things like flatten transparecy just by guessing. Please tell me which is the proper way to get rid of this white background in an EPS.
Your help is mostly appreciated.
