Hi!

I have a small app that opens a modem connection to a remote location (using the MSComm control). I need to be able to close the program after the connection is made but leave the connection open. OR, I need to let a DOS application access the modem while the VB app is still running. The problem I am having now is that the VB app opens the connection, but the DOS program (Taylor ProWorx Plus) can't use the connection because the VB app has control over the modem, and when I close the app (obviously), it closes the modem connection. Is it possible to do what I want here with VB?

Thanks in advance!
