How can i use the mask as a path guided object?

(OP)
I have only succeded using the mask in a motion/shape tween
but i cant change the layer to be a guided as well
can someone help me with that?

RE: How can i use the mask as a path guided object?

TYAIR:

Create your motion path in a movie clip or graphic symbol first. Once it is running, insert it from the library into a layer.
Then create another layer on top with your mask. They should both have the same length. This is kind of a pain but you can't combine guides and masks.

I hope this helped but if you have more questions write me at ferhelping@yahoo.com
