List Meas Call-Summary Report Question
List Meas Call-Summary Report Question
(OP)
Hello,
I have a Definity G3Rv9.1 and run several daily reports. The 'list meas call-summary' report gives the number of calls completed each hour for voice, data, multi-media and service link call types, for the last 24 hours.
I ONLY have analog lines installed for my users.
This report consistently shows 12 to 15 data calls each day between 8:00am and 9:00am. I have checked on this before and realize that this is likely a fax or modem plugged into the telephone jack. It is probably a fax back service or something like that. These calls also appear on the 'list meas call-rate data' report.
Is there a way to determine what station/extension is getting or sending this information?
There is no CMS on my switch... I have only BCMS. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Regards.

RE: List Meas Call-Summary Report Question
There's a couple of ways of doing this - the quickest way, as your running R9, would be to come into work at 8am and do a trace on the trunk (i suggest copying the output to a file 'cause there maybe a fair bit of info) but you will see the number called and the calling party.
Hope this helps,
Chris

the command, in case you're unaware, is "list trace trunk xxx" where xxx is the tac of the trunk you want to trace.
