I am looking for a good training resource for Lucent Definity Administration. My employer would prefer not to send me for Avaya's $3000 training class if I can be trained for less. Are there any good books or CD's that you would recomend?

Thanks,
Ken

RE: Training

See if your employer will foot the bill for BTC178M2.  It's a CBT that covers basic system admin so if you're beyond basic don't bother.  I went out to look for a price but they stopped posting, if I remember correctly it was running a little under half the instructor led version (plus no travel expense).  They're not advertising it when you do a job function search at the web site but if you search by course number you can get the description.

RE: Training

Depending on the part of the world you're in,

I could recommend some Educational Partners of AVAYA...

-Please let me know if this was of any help-

RE: Training

Ken,

since I can only recommend some Training-partners in Europe, travel-expenses and technical differences between the CALA and EMEA-region could be an issue in your case.
Let me know...
