Advanced Mathematical Functions in VB6

I would like to know if there are ways to perform any type of advanced mathematical (statistics, calculus, diff eq.)using VB6 code or freely distributed controls. I am looking to perform both numerical and non-numerical calculations (f(x)= x^2;f'(x)= 2x dx)
