I have a text file that I happen to know is in dBASE IV format... is there any way for me to take advantage of Access' file converters to read the data or perform an "import" to a table?

I believe you can get an ODBC driver for dBaseIV files - then you could just set up a data-source pointing to that file using the ODBC setup in control panel.
But I've been wrong before (1962 it was).
