What model # of cordless telephone would work on a 3 x 8 Meridian System ? Customer would like to add 5 cordless, full function handsets.

3060, ? 7406 ? And maximum # of cordless that could be used on a 3 x 8 ? ( if any )?

RE: Norstar/Meridian Cordless Phones

Can you post a picture as I haven't heard of a 3*8 system, unless it's from the early Norstar range?

No picture, sorry. It's definitely been around for a while. Smaller system. 3 lines in with 8 available extensions

RE: Norstar/Meridian Cordless Phones

I would post your query on the Norstar forum

https://www.tek-tips.com/threadminder.cfm?pid=799

Although I don't know the earlier Norstar systems, my initial thoughts would be to fit one ATA to a spare digital extension port and perhaps tee off to a few analogue phones unless you need the cordless phones to have their own extension number.

Thanks for the input scrambler. They presently have 6 M7310 sets. Would like to get rid of 3 of them and add 5 cordless, with their own extension number

RE: Norstar/Meridian Cordless Phones

In that case, they would require 5 ATA.
It's best to get confirmation from the Norstar forum.
