ARS not allowing toll free to complete

ARS not allowing toll free to complete

(OP)
I got a PRI and I've got everything working properly for long distance and also for dialing 9 plus 1 plus toll free number

The strange thing is if I dial 9 then 800 then the toll free number it's getting an intercept from the telephone company.

Cox will allow 9+1+AC+number and also 9+AC+ NUMBER but toll free won't dial out

RE: ARS not allowing toll free to complete

that means that your provider is only allowing toll free WITH the leading 1

several ones I deal with are the same way.

You can adjust that in the ARS shortcodes if you want to be nice

9800xxxxxxx
dial
91800N
Line ID

and that for all toll free area codes that are out there 833, 844, 855, 866, 877 and 888 (hope I didn't miss a new one smile)
