9408 digital phone used for Agent

We are running a CM 8.1 G450 with EAS enabled. No CMS attached at the moment. I have setup login, logout, auto-in and Aux-work buttons setup on a 9408 Avaya phone. The auto-in button works but does not stay lit. Other phones stay lit and I am not sure if I have missed a setting or if this is normal.

Sounds like you have auto-answer setup on the agent ID but you do not have the headset button on the phone active to accept the call so the system will not allow you to go auto-in.

activate the headset on the phone or remove auto-answer from the agent ID
