IVS/IPS Mat lead

IVS/IPS Mat lead

Guys

I have unfortunately lost my MAT lead. I have spare connectors but for the life of me, I can't work out the connections/straps needed to get this to work. Has anyone got the pinouts and any strapping required for this as I have an AP00 to replace and CAT mode is a bit of a pain!

RE: IVS/IPS Mat lead

Are you looking for a NEC MAT cable, or just the pin outs?

Belvedere

Just the pinouts and any strapping of pins to make the lead work I have a few of the connectors (mostly on SMDR cables) and can easily buzz out the connections but need to know what pins to what pins and do any pins need strapping together to make it work. I borrowed a cable from a friend but even when I try to use that lead it doesn't work which is a bit of a worry . I have tried this lead on both a USB to serial and a computer with a built serial port but to no avail!

Any help gratefully received.

RE: IVS/IPS Mat lead

I'll look for it. I have used a RVS cable in the past. Usually an SMDR cable will work.

RE: IVS/IPS Mat lead

I don't have a pinout and I can't remember where you are in Australia OzzieGeorge, but if you're near the Blue Mountains I'm happy to lend you one as long as I get it back :)

I have these two (I use them with my ICS120, but I believe they're the same as on the IVS/IPS?):

Unfortunately I'm in Perth.

Interestingly I borrowed a friends lead and it doesn't work with either of my laptops (one with built in serial and the other with USB serial. So I went to site with a Dterm in hand and programmed the AP00 in CAT mode. Anyway noticing the VM had a DB9 connector to the MCI/PMS connection, I checked the output and got data out (on both laptops) so I thought I would try the lead as a MAT connection and it didn't work! Infuriating to say the least!

RE: IVS/IPS Mat lead

Sorry, I could not find the pin outs. I had them in another life. I do have cables, however, I am in the US.
