Replaced ETR Board - Internal Loopback Test

Replaced ETR Board - Internal Loopback Test

Replaced ETR Board - Internal Loopback Test

(OP)
Hello again,

I received the replacement ETR board today (Magic ETR board placed in the Legend clam shell). Did a board renumber and tested a few ETR ports and T&R ports, all worked fine. Then I ran the Maintenance Demand Test on the board after busying it out. The Board Controller test 'Successfully Completed'. The Internal Loopback test failed, with the following displayed:

'Bad Conf Enbl Ctrl Reg 1', then more, and got all 0s. Checked Error logs, nothing. Also, nothing was connected to the ETR board when I did the tests.

Since the board appears to be working OK, is this something I should be concerned about. I wasn't able to locate anything that explained the error codes.

I also tried to test several other boards, board 01 (408 GS/LS-ID-MLX) wouldn't busy out, even though there was no usage on it. This is the first I've tried running some of the maintenance tests, so I don't have any insight on what's normal or not.

Where would I find a list of the error codes and their definitions? I noticed that in the Rel7 notes they mentioned two new error codes were added, but I wasn't able to locate the full list.

Thanks for everyone's help!

Jim

RE: Replaced ETR Board - Internal Loopback Test

could this possibly indicate trouble with a touch tone receiver, since conference function does use ttrs sometimes?
