Camp On Issue

Camp On Issue

Camp On Issue

(OP)
Hi everyone!

I'm having an issues with an SV9100. A phone is camped on line 1 and were unable to remove it. We've been round every phone and tried to dial 770 and 870 with no luck.

Is there a way to remove this via PC pro software?

RE: Camp On Issue

When dialling 870 we get the error "Vacant Line"

RE: Camp On Issue

Hold down the exit key, select Callback then all.

wont remove it unfortunately. Do I need to do this on the phone that camped on line 1?

when dialling line 1 which is displayed with red light on the phone I get the error busy camp. I'm thinking this line is maybe permanently busy rather than camped on?

RE: Camp On Issue

Hold down the exit key, select MW then all.

RE: Camp On Issue

Yes on the ext that is the issue.

It didn;t work unfortunately. Do I need to do this on the phone that is camped on line 1 or any phone?

RE: Camp On Issue

I mean have you reset the system? This is one of those things that without seeing it it's awful hard to fix.

we've tried a reboot of the PBX so far. Yeah it really is. Probably need to get to site for this one. Appreciate your help

RE: Camp On Issue

It sounds like the line is stuck busy. If it is an analog trunk you can disconnect or short it at the Telco demarc. You can reset the system. There is a phone procedure to disconnect a busy line if you have analog trunks, but it takes a few programming steps to enable it.
