Hello all,
i have a question . how can i activate appointment on telefone and i the telefon is not authorized to do that .
i dont find the option to allow that to and number ,
please help if you know

RE: appointment

Add in the codes for reminder calls (if not already added)

ADD-WABE:**9048,,,AREM,N;
ADD-WABE:**9049,,,DREM,N;
ADD-WABE:**9050,,,REMKY,N;

Now use the menu to add a reminder or dial the AREM Code

RE: appointment

(OP)
thanks , but the codes are there and is not allowing me through a telephone to do it ,
i just want to call for example *160800 then it will make a reminder .

RE: appointment

Make a dis-feasu and check that timed reminder server is active. If not, cha-feasu and activate it.

RE: appointment

its activated but the telefone itself is not authorized to do that , and i dont know where to activate it or give the authorization

RE: appointment

You need to dial more than *160800
You have to tell it what day of the week and what time.
Use the AMO ACTDA to set one and you will see

RE: appointment

An example in ACTDA would be
ADD-ACTDA:TYPE=STN,STNO=1234,FEATCD=REMIND,REMIND=12345;
Where in 'REMIND' the format is DHHMM - 'Day Hour Hour Minute Minute'
With 0=Sunday 1=Monday etc.
So try again using that format via the phone

the problem is itr says not possible , that means i have to have rights to do this function and i dont know how to add this rights to the stn .
over Cos ??

RE: appointment

What code have you set for AREM in WABE ?
What digits are you putting into the phone ?

Can you please:
ADD-DIMSU:REMIND=5000;
CHA-FEASU:A,TIMEDREM;

Test again

RE: appointment

You definitely don't want to be making DIMSU changes if you don't need to, and not without a test-dimsu; first to check current total memory usage. If you push it over 100% you can crash it.

dis-dimsu:user; will show how many reminders can be set, it should be checked there first, and only adjust if it's 0. If it's set to 12000 already then changing to 5000 won't help.

I think the problem here might be the code is not diallable from digital phone with a display, it works from a function key. Set a REMIND key on the phone and try again.

From an analog, dial the AREM code and you hear tone come pretty quick - dial over the tone with the 4 digit time, 2115 for quarter past 9 etc. You set the time for the next 24 hour window. If you then make a dis-actda:stn for the station number you should see it. Bit strange to dial over the tone, but it works.

As a test, if you set DIGNODIS in SBCSU to tell the digital phone it has no display, then you can dial the feature code without the "not possible" but it doesn't configure the tine you dial, like it does with the analog. There might be a bug there, but digital phones without displays are not common anymore.
